MusicFest Presents the Ninth Annual Celebrity Roast

Following tradition of honoring citizens who have made significant contributions to the Rockwall community, Mike Atkins, Executive Director of the county’s YMCA will be the subject of MusicFest’s ninth annual celebrity roast. Mr. Atkins has served fourteen years as Executive Director of the “Y”. He is a graduate of the Univtersity of Texas, a member of the First United Methodist Church of Rockwall, and a member of The Rockwall Rotary Club and is due to take over the helm of that prestigious club in a few years.
The evening starts with a 6 p.m. reception and silent auction at Occasions at Stone River on February 11, followed by a live auction and dinner at 7 p.m. Joining in the evening’s fun will be Emcees Russ Childers and Billy Quinton, Roasters Jon Bailey, Don French and David Sweet. Dinner will be prepared by Chef Zach. All proceeds will go to benefit Rockwall MusicFest.
