Job Purpose:  To provide network, remote and field support to clients.

Experience with Help Desk software and RMM tools are required along with strong documentation and network/server management skills. 

Days/Hours:

Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. (40 hrs) Some weekend or project work, potential incentive program after 90 days for sales/after hours project work

Duties:

 Provide remote and onsite support for our clients email, desktops, servers and networks. (Dell, Microsoft, Apple, Sonicwall and Cisco among

others)

 Design - implement network and server projects: LAN/WAN, VPN and networked systems  Configure and maintain servers: See Requirements Below  Networking equipment including firewalls, switches and network appliances  Perform virus removal, server and workstation maintenance and repair  Systems administration: User Mgmt, Backup, security, AD, DNS and DHCP

Requirements:

 Workstations:  Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2000 Required (98, 95, 3 a plus)

 Servers:  Good Working Knowledge:  2008 SBS, 2008 & 2008 R2

 Servers:  Strong Working Knowledge:  Windows 2003 & 2003 SBS

 Servers:  MAC OS-X and Up, Windows 2K, NT4 & 3.51, Linux a definite plus

 Servers:  - VMWare is a strong plus

 Platforms:  Strong Working Knowledge Exchange 2003 & 2007

 Platforms:  Exchange 2010 a definite plus

 Platforms:  Good Working Knowledge:  SQL 2000, 2003 & 2008

 Platforms:  SQL 7 & 6.5 a plus

 Platforms:  SharePoint is a plus

 Applications:  Strong Working Knowledge:  MS Office 2003 and Office

2007

 Applications:  Working Knowledge:  MS Office 2000 and Office 2010

 Applications:  ACT, WordPerfect, OpenOffice, Google Docs, Quickbooks

 Applications:  Email, VPN, Accounting Apps  General network troubleshooting TCP/IP, VPN, Firewalls  Microsoft Active Directory & Strong DNS Knowledge  Help desk support and troubleshooting servers and workstations

Compensation:

Salary - 45K - 60K, depending on experience
